The Summit Aims To Unite Young Asian Leaders For A Vibrant And Collaborative Future.
At the heart of the ACI Youth Leadership Summit lies a powerful
vision: bringing together the most passionate young leaders from
ASEAN, China, and India to shape a future marked by sustainability,
entrepreneurship, and deep cross-cultural understanding.
As Asia opens its borders, our summit is designed to be an
extraordinary space for inspired young minds to converge and
collaboratively tackle critical sustainability challenges. What
makes us distinctive? Borderless leadership that inspires meaningful
collaboration and regional progress; and experiential, impact-driven
learning that goes beyond traditional learning environments.
The program is specially designed for tertiary youths aged 18-25 who are passionate about contributing actively to sustainability and innovation, who are team players with a cross-cultural mindset, driven by curiosity and an entrepreneurial spirit. We are committed to cultivating these key qualities in our future leaders:

Participating in ACIYLS has inspired me to take further studies in sustainability and the SDG goals as well as incorporating said principles into my own major. As an architecture student, I believe that the application of sustainability related principles can create impact in our society.
The whole experience of working in a team that is diverse and new will always be the most impactful moment from this program. The difference in culture, new connections, and also being exposed to different personalities and work styles does not only give me an idea on how the real world working experience looks like but also had me gain new insights and new connections.
Through team's hands-on projects. I was able to think beyond conventional solutions aimed at addressing some of the most pressing environmental challenges. Additionally, we openly share our cultures, learn from each other's perspectives, and form meaningful connections.
A memorable moment that a lasting impact unfolded during my collaboration with students from different cultural backgrounds. Working with my teammates from Myanmar, Brunei, Malaysia, Laos and the Philippines introduced me to fresh viewpoint and inventive ideas. I became more proficient at international collaboration when I experienced working alongside teammates who jointly dedicated themselves to develop meaningful solutions and this experience deepened my admiration for our collective efforts.
One moment that really stuck with me at ACIYLS was during the Award and Networking Ceremony when everyone started dancing together. It wasn't about the performances, it was the vibe and energy. It made me realized that ACIYLS isn't just about learning and competing, but also about making real connections with people from different countries. That moment felt like a perfect way to wrap everything up.
ACIYLS had a significant impact on my career path and educational choices. Through the summit, I gained deeper insights into sustainability, innovation, and leadership, which reinforced my interest in developing green solutions. The experience also expanded my perspective on international collaboration and policy-making, encouraging me to explore opportunities beyond just technical engineering—such as entrepreneurship and environmental advocacy. Moreover, engaging with experts and peers from different countries inspired me to further integrate sustainability into my academic and professional journey.
